These COULD be great switches. The overall feel is ok when they’re mounted and working, getting them mounted however, that’s where the issues come in. The biggest problem I found is that when you have the button mounted, and you are installing the black plastic retainer, several of the ones in the package do not fit the notches on the button body, and the wings end up breaking off when you are trying to twist the retainer into the button body. Using a pair of pliers to grip lower down on the retainer frame does help, but still, several of them are way too tight. I also found a couple to be so loose that they won’t stay in at all. So just be very careful when attaching the retainer to the bottom o of the button housing. The second issue is the “nuts”. The large threaded nut that screws onto the button housing. They are very thin and flimsy, and crack very easily. Once cracked they’re useless. You can try gluing it back together but that’s not overly reliable. The set should come with an extra nut and retainer piece. In one if the kits I bought, one of the LEDs was broken in the holder. One out of 60 isn’t bad, but when they don’t come with any spares, well, one out of 1000 is too many.Assuming you get everything mounted without breaking any of the pieces, the feel is good, and the click of the switch is relatively satisfying. The LEDs are very bright, maybe too bright actually. I am going to add a dimmer to the power supply to tone them down a little. I will also be taking all the bad pieces and returning them as a bad kit. Thankfully I bought extras so I could complete the builds.
