This game is a blast to play! I am a grown adult with no kids, and my wife and I play this all the time. When we have company over we have had such a great time that we bought a second copy since this is only for four people. This game does scale well with more than one box for more than four players…Fun game to play with my grand-children (from age 4 or 5 on up). It's exciting and suspenseful yet easy for the kids, and it causes lots of giggles. A round is played quite quickly (about 10 minutes) and so nobody gets bored. Of course, the first time you play, you have to "build" the wolf and sheep and dice! The kids love that.A great game for kids that is not a total bore for the adults to play along with. a great way to incorporate Lego into a game simple and fun for kids in the 8 and under crowd.Shave a Sheep/Wild WoolThis a game adults can play with kids without going crazy. There's actually strategy. We were struggling to find something a bit different for our (just turned) five year old. Saw the reviews for this and thought we'd give it a go. The pieces are put together to build sheep and a wolf. Although it looked a bit daunting when we first opened the box, the instructions were excellent and our son happily helped to construct them. He enjoyed the game very much although at first he had a few tantrums when the wolf was sent in to take his wool, but eventually he realised that he could do the same to other people and took to the game well. It's quite a basic game really. You roll the dice to see if you can collect wool, save wool, swap with someone else, or send the wolf to steal someone else wool. The winner is the person with the most saved wool at the end. We bought this in the sale for just over £7. I've seen it since for almost £20 and I have to say I wouldn't pay any more than £7 for what it is. An unusual game though and we've since bought it as presents for his friends. Even his adult cousins became competitive monsters with it.My four year old daughter loves this game. The price seems to fluctuate a lot so hold on and wait til it is low (I paid about £4).It is really simple - you throw the dice and you have to collect wool to put on your sheep. If you get the wolf, you have to 'shave' your sheep and lose all of your wool. There is also a possibility to swap your sheep with others and 'bank' the wool you have collected so that it can't be taken. The box is small so it can be taken on holiday easily too. I'd highly recommend it as the games don't tend to last for very long...which is great if your child has a low attention span!I bought this game for my 7 year old son for Christmas. The building of the sheep and the wolf was alot of fun and the subsequent playing created many laughs with letting your sheep grow wool and having somebody then taking it away from you.The instructions are fairly easy to understand and can be improvised if need be. This game isn't too complicated, but a bit more involved than Pirate Plank and Sun Block.Great game for a change and very enjoyable. would recommend.I bought this for my 4 year old who has recently got into playing games. Some of them cause us to lose the will to live quite early on but this one is great! Admittedly my son sometimes gets annoyed when all of his wool gets stolen by the wolf but that's part of learning that you can't always win.We have really enjoyed playing and I would recommend this for children aged 4 and up. My son has quickly got the hang of choosing which dice option benefits him best and there is a tiny amount of strategy involved.I ordered this as we already had a lego game that my grandchildren loved. This is even better. The youngest grandson is only 3 yet loves the game as does his grandpa. Over Christmas it was the most requested activity and we played with all sorts of combinations from only the children (aged 3, 5 and 7) to all of us (9) in teams. Endless fun including the adult drinking variations. I foresee it as a family must do every Christmas from now on.
