After reading through so many reviews on affordable beanbag chairs I started to worry that they were all cheap and poorly filled and assumed I was going to be disappoitned. This beanbag is wonderfully filled, great quality and the best price I found (for the quality and size). Very happy with the purchase!I ordered this bean bag for me (an adult, albeit a petite one) and it's perfect. The colors are as pictured, the stitching is quality, and, most importantly, it's comfy.Also, it came stuffed to the brim with beans. If anything, I might take some beans out. I was worried there would be a lack of beans, per some other reviews. I was worried I'd find myself in some kind of bean shortage sitting on a limp, flaccid bag with hardly a bean to my name. Not so.We bought this bean bag a couple of years ago for our 7 year old. First off, it came only half filled and wasn't as filled as it should be, in the beginning this was fine as the filler was still uncompressed and the bean bag was filled enough to use. But sitting in it over time, for the last two years, the filling of the bean bag has gotten compressed and the bean bag is very flat and obviously needs to be filled. The bean bag says it is fillable and even has a zipper on one end to open it up, except the zipper which is covered by fabric will not budge. Not only is the zipper impossible to get to but it does not want to open even with pliers! So now it seems we have an unusable bean bag! So, sure it's comfortable and the leather like fabric makes it easy to clean but if you can't use it what's the point.I bought this so that I can sit with my little and do activities on the floor but still be comfortable. Surprisingly it has helped with my back and my little one loves it as well. We can sit together and read no issues.I got a faux leather type material which will help prevent it getting fuzziness and its easy to clean. Just be mindful not to put it near sharp objects.My son is a 57lbs 5 year old. Only used it a week and it already needs filling. It's a simple fix though.DO NOT BUY unless you only want about 6 months of use. It will go flat and you will need to buy more beans to refill because the company claims it is refillable, why just unzip it! They claim you just need to stick a paperclip into the zipper to open and refill. NOPE! It is impossible to get the zipper to open. The covering of the zipper head does not open, so just to get to the zipper head you have to cut the binding on top of it. Then you will try the paperclip, then pliers, then EVERYTHING you could imagine and it still WONT OPEN!So you toss it and then your kid still wants a bean bag, so you buy another one. Bingo, Brilliant marketing strategyThe chair itself is well made, attractive and sturdy. Also, the chair is exactly the size I wanted for my grandchild when I ordered it. The chair was overstuffed when it arrived. I had to figure out how to pull down the double zippers and take some stuffing out and make it comfortable for my grandchild. At some point, the stuffing will probably crush down and we will have to put more stuffing in it but that’s how it would work for any bean bad chair. I’m very happy with this purchase.Pretty durable, I have an 8yr old boy that is pretty rough and tumble with his belongings and likes to wrestle with his bean bag chair and it has withstood his abuse, lol. Great buy at a great price.
