I use this with a very old game console and it works great! I have a Fairchild console that only uses RF, and I was successfully able to use this device to get a composite signal. It’s the next best thing to having a composite modification done directly for the console, and since nobody has done this modification for the Fairchild yet to my knowledge, this device is the best way I’ve found to get the signal to a modern TV!I no longer have an application for this unit. I was using a different brand product that cost about half as much. This was a back up for that device for when the one I was using failed as has happened before. The one I had was available only as a used unit at a totally unreasonable price. Dish replaced my receiver with one that had no RF output. The price and usefulness of video recording devices is rapidly becoming so unreasonable that I may have to stop recording video for watching at the time of my choice.This unit is a great device when space is limited in a classroom. I was able to set up my Mimeo projector to be used for announcements instead of using a bulky tv on a cartIt works as described however the picture quality was last than great. Perhaps on a small TV would be okay but a large green is too grainy for my taste.Fast shipping and as description
