These 8X disks are compatible with the older Funai FDRV90E VHS/DVD Dual Deck Player/Recorder. I mention this because I had a hard time finding out which disks were compatible with this particular unit and wasted a lot of money fumbling around blind buying the wrong kind of disks--because the owner's manual doesn't clearly state that this particular unit will only accept 8X DVD-R or DVD-RW disks! These disks make a nice, clear recording with no problems.
